Class 442s introduced

Southern introduced its first Class 442 workings between London and Gatwick on 9 December, prior to more workings on 15 December with the timetable change, which will see Class 442 trains reaching Brighton. Here the 12.30 Gatwick Express from Victoria to the Airport on 9 December, running about 20 minutes down due to disruption caused by a rail break, approaches Clapham Junction at speed, formed of Class 442 stock with unit No 442414 leading.
